The Admin's Insights Print E-mail

Hey, this is Logan Merrill, the admin of Camp Abilities Insight. I figured that I'd go ahead and share my thoughts about Camp Abilities and how cool it is, and give you a sample of what submitting your thoughts is like and how it works.

 

 

I've been going to Camp Abilities for 5 years now (this year - 2009 - will be my 6th) and I've loved it each year I've gone. Not only is it an opportunity to get away from the routine of everyday life, but it's also an opportunity to connect and communicate with friends i haven't seen in a year, friends like me who are blind or visually impaired. It's also a great opportunity to practice adaptive physical education, learn more about adaptive sports and independent living skills, all in an awesome, one-on-one environment.

 

I don't want to bore you with every little detail about my happy years at Camp Abilities, so I'll just say that every time I go there I always come home rejuvenated, recharged, and ready to face the world, all the while believing that I can achieve in anything I set my mind to.
